The TIBO Internet Award has been held annually in the Republic of Belarus since 2003. Since the beginning, more than 8,000 Belarusian Internet resources have taken part in the contest. In 2019, the Internet Award was held for the 17th time. In total, 485 applications were submitted for the Award 2019.
As a result of the meeting, the jury of the contest madea shortlist of 64 projects.
Three museum projects were among the laureates:
- The website of Grodno State Historical and Archaeological Museum (museum-grodno.by);
- Web Portal "Museums of Belarus" (museum.by);
- The website of Nesvizh National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve (niasvizh.by).
The award ceremony took place in the Minsk-Arena April 11 at 17.00.
The website of Nesvizh National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve took the second prize in the category "Corporate and Thematic Internet Resources" (sub-index "Rest and Tourism").
In the category "Culture and Art" the awards were distributed as follows - it was decided not to give the third award. The second award was given to the website of Grodno State Historical and Archaeological Museum. And the Web Portal "Museums of Belarus" became the winner in this category.
