Polotsk Folk Theater «Piligrim» of City House of Culture was established in 1992. Next 6 years Valentin Nagorny was the director of the new theater.
From 2002 to the present day artistic and stage director of the Polotsk Folk Youth Theater «Piligrim» is Vera Kiseleva. Under her leadership creative young people of Polotsk develop their artistic abilities.
During this time the troupe of «Piligrim» more than once became the winner of various contests of theatrical skill. Professional jury is not left without attention young actors, who also received awards.
Vera Kiseleva received the diploma of the competition of Polotsk creative intelligent people «Stars wing» in nomination «Creative person of the year» and the honorary title «Woman of Vitebsk region-2004».
The funds of Polotsk National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve received collection of materials related to the activity of the Polotsk Folk Youth Theater «Piligrim», which cover the period from 2003 to 2009. It includes posters and programs of performances, invitations to events, a brochure and the historical sketch «60 years of Polotsk Folk Theater», the originator of which is the Vera Kiseleva - the artistic director of the PFT.
