On the eve of the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, a meeting was held between the activists of the Youth Parliament of Polotsk, the children's chamber of the public association "BRPO" and school primary organizations of the public association "Belarusian Republican Youth Union". was held at the State Educational Institution "Polotsk Regional Center for Children and Youth" under the motto "Belarus and Russia: common history, common destiny."
Among the invited guests was the head of the Polotsk Museum of Local Studies Irina Vodneva. She spoke about a new excursion route dedicated to the Romanov dynasty, more than 20 representatives of which visited Polotsk in different years.
Pavel Rudakov, a leading researcher at the Museum of Military Glory, also took part in the event. He introduced the audience to the peculiarities of the liberation of Polotsk during the Great Patriotic War/World War II.
